- Yes if you have years of real work sitting in tools: jobs, matters, nights, routes, estimates. Law firms, roofers, restaurants, cleaning companies, hospitality, a 70-person mortgage shop. Licensing is not guaranteed.
- No. Not a seat-tax LMS. Not a portal you rent. Not a marketplace selling customer lists. You keep ownership. We represent you.
- Not without authorization. You own it. Privacy checks and your approval come first. Licensing is a defined license to an agreed package.

Licensing
- Only if it qualifies, you authorize it, and a buyer wants it. A recent license paid an owner $173,163 for how their company operates every day. That is proof we can run the process, not a quote for your business.

- For qualified licensing engagements, nothing. We get paid when you do. If nothing sells, you owe nothing on that deal. The success fee is typically 20–30% of proceeds. We set it from your intake, show you why, and agree it in writing before work starts. The comparison is $0 vs a check, not the gross vs your net. On revenue-share deals, the fee applies to each payout you receive from that deal, renewals included. SOP and readiness tools are free.
- Without Jottings, most companies don't have a buyer-ready AI dataset. We discover the opportunity, write missing docs, prepare the data, run diligence, find buyers, and close. The comparison is $0 vs a check, not the gross vs your net. The math is on the How we get paid page.
- Yes. If a company you introduce successfully licenses its data through Jottings, we pay you 25% of the Jottings fee on that deal when it closes. It comes from Jottings, not from their check. Introductions recorded before October 7, 2026 keep the 10%-of-sale terms. Record the intro on the Refer page so we know to pay you.

- A 0–100 read of how close your company is to having operational history worth evaluating for licensing. It is readiness, not market value or buyer acceptance. A high score does not guarantee a license.

Privacy & ownership
- You do. Underlying data stays yours. SOP ZIPs are yours. Any future licensing is opt-in, reviewed, and contractually bounded.
- Your customer list is not the product. We run privacy checks before anything is shared, flag names, emails, phones, payment data, and identifying customer records, and agree with you what is in scope. Buyers apply their own privacy review too. They want how the work is done, not your client list.
- Common. Whether you have the right to license is a question for you and your own counsel. We don't give legal advice, but we can share sample language your counsel can review.
